12 golden spheres in stainless steel, symbol of the EU flag, are created around a 48 radiant sun, representing the number of countries in Europe including Cyprus. 

The letters EU in the three dimensional Braille Art are invisibly integrated into the design as standing rays, completing the gateway of Europe as a passage.

The golden rays of the European sun symbolize the 27 previous EU members, which emanate from the bundle of rays of the 6 founding members. 

The technology of the fascinating Light Sculpture allows the exchange with golden rays, when the EU expands or, conversely, a Brexit as with the seventh ray beside the bundle.

"This is our Europe" is the artistic message of the EU Sky Sculpture.
